SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Provide on-site mechanical engineering expertise and project management of mechanical installation at new and existing Kohler facilities in Asia.
2.Coordinate mechanical installations with the work of other disciplines, design institutes, outside consultants, and contractors engaged in support of Kohler Co. projects.
3.Perform studies and calculations for the installation or renovation of mechanical systems. Obtain required design data from existing systems or facilities to verify performance parameters and system compatibility.
4.Develop plans, specifications and bid documents as necessary to obtain equipment and installation quotes.
5.Work with other engineering disciplines to identify and correct installation interferences and all codes and regulations. Create and administer field change orders.
6.Coordinate the efforts of installation technicians and mechanics engaged in mechanical system installation and modification.
