Responsibilities:
* Assist site management to be fully understand the local EHS regulatory requirement and compliance.
* Facilitate the processes of hazard identification and risk assessment.
* Working with plant floor and leadership teams to identify and implement safety and health improvement opportunities based on employee feedback, observations, and data trends
* Facilitate planning processes for EHS programs and activities to meet the established objectives and target.
* Monitor and follow up the progress of implemented EHS plans and activities.
* Ensure that the safety rules and regulation are established, communicated, and enforced effectively.
* Coordinate the safety training programs to ensure that the employee, contractors are provided with adequate knowledge, skills and competencies that enabling safe working practices.
* Maintain contacts with external parties regarding EHS, including government authorities, legislative bodies and industry groups；
* Manage workplace health hazards monitoring and measurement to assess the exposure level. The mitigation and control programs to be suggested to site management.
* Manage safety records, accident/ incident reports, investigation processes, and statistical analysis and learning sharing.
* Manage EHS Management System Audit and compliance audit processes and follow up the progress of finding and corrective action request processes via management review meeting.
* Work with site leaders to develop effective communication plans to drive change in safety culture.
* Work with EHS Regional Leader to develop improvement and best practices sharing in region.
* Directing the activities of the plant environmental and safety committees
* Developing and managing budgets for safety and environmental activities
Qualification
1.Experience in managing safety and environmental matters in oversea company.
2.Proven training and development experience
3.Incident Investigation expertise including Root Cause Analysis or Five Why Analysis
4.Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
5.Effective communication skills (writing, presentation, data organization)
6.Written and spoken language needed - English and Chinese
