JOB PURPOSE

The Quality Assurance Manager is the person in charge of all company’s quality monitoring and product assurance reporting. This person is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that all products manufactured or marketed by the company are free from any flaws or errors and are of the highest quality endorsed by clients.

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing the quality assurance process including lab testing, dry testing, wet testing and product assembly according to the prescribed “inspection criteria”, to ensure that the company’s products meet customer quality standards and other market based statutory requirements. The QA Manager shall be required:

•； to optimize QA resources and
•； to ensure QA & manufacturing processes to co-proceed smoothly and efficiently.
•； to recommend on continuous improvements of
- tests & methodology,
- manufacturing processes,
- tools and systems,

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Implement the required Inspection Criteria, and participate in setting up of same for practicality wherever possible.

2. Establish quality management system methods and procedures for
•； the Lab,
•； the Dry test and Wet test areas, as well as in
•； the Assembly areas.

3. Organize the assembly procedures.

4. Develop and implement the detailed procedures for lab testing, dry testing and wet testing.

5. Control and monitor the daily quality assurance operation, ensure the testing data is properly recorded.

6. Visit suppliers or customers to discuss quality issue improvement actions if & when needed.

7. Periodically analyze and report on the current product quality status and product quality trends.

8. Provide support to Production Development Team to evaluate the samples, prototypes and the process during product development stage.

9. Define sub-division staffing requirements, interview candidates, select and hire same.

REQUIREMENTS

1. College education or above, in engineering or other relevant majors.

2. Sanitary ceramic experience in quality management is desirable.

3. At least 5 years experience as a person in charge of directly managing product quality.

4. Fluency in written and spoken English. For expatriate, fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese.

5. Have a good working knowledge of ASME and IAPMO standards.

6. Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or others.

7. Well organized and self-disciplined.

8. Hard working, responsible, and a good team player.

9. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and suppliers.

10. Can work independently with good problem solving skills.

11. Must possess a high degree of integrity.
