Reports to : General Manager Operation
THE COMPANY
We are an up & coming world class supply chain management company located in Hangzhou, China. As part of our all encompassing supply chain management service package for sanitary ware clients, we are building a expert driven organization and intend to staff it with quality professionals that can flexibly & satisfactorily respond to any challenging supply chain demands.
JOB PURPOSE
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the supplier management, purchasing (except price negotiation), & door to door logistics in order to meet company’s production schedule and customers’ shipping schedule； assist VP Supply Chain in ensuring an efficient & lean supply chain always.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Establishing the policies about the supplier management method and the evaluation system etc； to make sure the supplier can support the company steadily and reliably.
2. Making out the corresponding purchasing plan (suppliers & quantities) according to customers’ orders, production plan and the product development schedule, and supporting VP Supply Chain to negotiate with suppliers to finalize supply contracts and drive higher efficiency & cost savings all the time.
3. Following up and coordinating with suppliers for production and delivery planning.
4. Making arrangement and managing the product shipments in and out, and checking on site if & when necessary.
5. Following up the quality issues with the customers by monitoring and coordinating with Production Division.
6. Monitoring shipping and delivery to meet customers’ requirements.
7. Preparing regular reports and performance statistics for management review.
8. Establishing the Department, defining staff’s requirements, interview candidates, select and hire same.
REQUIREMENTS
1. College education or above, in engineering or other relevant majors.
2. 5+ years experience in supply chain management, purchasing and/or other relevant positions.
3. Experience in a job in the sanitary ceramics market or related industries are preferred.
4. Good English Language skills, with listening, oral, reading and writing ability.
5. Good knowledge of computer systems, high skill set in using Microsoft Office Software, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or others.
6. Well organized and self-disciplinary.
7. Healthy, strong stamina, and be able to handle physically demanding workloads.
8. Hard working, responsible and a good team player.
9. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal customers and external suppliers.
10. Can work independently with good problem solving skills.
11. Must possess a high degree of integrity.
