GENERAL
We are a supply chain management company located in Hangzhou, China. As part of our all encompassing supply chain management package we are building a Quality Assurance Team and intend to staff it with professionals that can flexibly respond to any supply chain demands.
The Product Development Engineer is responsible for the planning and scheduling for the product manufacturing, including: set up production development plan and schedule, work closely with suppliers to ensure the requirement is implemented, and support production, engineering and sales & marketing divisions in order to meet company’s revenue target and customer’s shipping plan satisfaction; assist the Division in securing the smoothness of the whole supply chain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Planning, scheduling and coordinating, monitoring the processes of new product development.
2. Work closely with various factories to accomplishing the product development schedule.
3. Establishing the policies and technical documentation to effectively control the product development process until product is released for production.
4. Maintaining and keeping update the quality assurance standard to make sure it is well accomplished all the time and in all products.
5. Scheduled visiting the manufacturers to following up the progress of new product development, check the status of manufacturing regarding improvement of production efficiency, and coordinate with and advise with project supervision.
6. Managing the product catalogue including the serial numbers, supplier codes, specifications, certificates, drawings, packaging and label etc.
7. Preparing project progress reports and statistics for management review.
REQUIREMENTS
1. College education or above, in technical or other relevant Major.
2. 2+ years experience in production scheduling, materials planning, production capacity planning, and/or other relevant positions.
3. Working experience in a job in the sanitary ceramics is desired.
4. Ordinary English Language skills, with listening, oral, reading and writing ability.
5. Good knowledge of computer systems, high skill set in using Microsoft Office Software, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and/or others.
6. Well organized and self-disciplined.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and suppliers.
8. Hard working, responsible and a good team player.
9. Plan, organize and ute work as needed to accomplish objectives according to deadlines.
10. Must possess a high degree of integrity.
